Yanis Varoufakis on a Wealth Tax | The Rose Reports
We caught up with Yanis Varoufakis during Manchester's Literature Festival.
We asked former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis about what he thinks of a wealth tax - an idea which has gained momentum in the UK and worldwide as a way to reduce wealth inequality.
Varoufakis, an economist, author, and founder of the DiEM25 movement, is known for his logical and well-reasoned views on global finance, inequality, and progressive policy and was in Manchester for a talk about his new book, ‘Raise Your Soul: A Personal History of Resistance’.
